Start the Super Bowl off right with some exercise before you relax and fill up on chips and dip during the big game. The 13th annual Super Bowl Run will start off at Goleta State Beach, enjoy this 5K run/walk on this flat path. Registration is required.

Have a taste of some traditional French cooking while enjoying some good wine. You will also receive a copy of "Bon Appetit" magazine and a special gift on the first meeting! If you enjoy the cuisine you may also book an additional cooking workshop.

Come and join the Santa Barbara Zoo staff at Night Lizard Brewing Company for some animal-related trivia the first Wednesday of every month. A portion of the beer sales will go directly to the Zoo and will benefit the Zoo’s conservation programs.

Beautiful tells the story of Carol King's journey to becoming a star. A passionate girl, born in Brooklyn, fought her way into the record industry and flourished. This musical gives insight to what made Carol King one of the most influential solo musicians to a generation.

Swing into the weekend with some Swing Dance Lessons. Enjoy the live band The Moontones, while they play and you dance. A partner is not required, casual dress welcomed. Lessons included in the cost of admission $20, or $15 for students. Starts at 7:30 PM.
7:30 PM at The Lobero Theatre
Musical Director Heiichiro Ohyama and The Lobero Theater Foundation have collaborated to produce another series of Chamber Music. The series features top international performers. The night will feature Beethoven's Piano Quartet in E-flat major, Op. 16a, Prokofiev's Sonata for Two Violins in C major Op. 56, and Brahms' Piano Quartet No. 1 in G minor, Op. 25.

They have been popular for their cultivated reputation for genre-blending shows filled with a sense of curiosity and fun ever since their first outing in the summer of 2015. They will be performing at the Granada Theatre on February 9th and you should not miss it out.

Enjoy an evening of paddling and watching the night sky. This twilight trip is one of the best ways to end a full day. Meet before sunset for a comprehensive kayaking lesson and right after, head out to sea in a single or double kayak where you can watch the colors change and watch stars appear.

Listen attentively as your guide covers local human history and insight into Santa Ynez wine region along the way. Afterwards, lunch will be served in the shade at a favorite winery. Enjoy a deli style lunch catered by their private chef.

The event is open to grades 4-9. This should be noted: Grades 4-6 should arrive and sign-in by 8:30 a.m., and grades 7-9 by 1 p.m. A word list for grades 7-9 are made available. as well as a state supplied study guide. Registration is necessary prior to the event.
