1. Bring In those colorful flowers

Fall flowers in different hues are the key not only to gain attention but for a fresher look as well. Clean up those summer beds and replace it with flowers like mums in an array of autumn colors. You can also add sedums, pansies, asters and flowering kale for combination too.

2. Make a statement out of your front door

Front doors are one of the focal points for curb appeal- it is a statement. Fall foliage wreaths or colorful garlands will definitely raise an attention. Present the entrance of your home with a group of pumpkins or gourds, potted mums or large planters that go with the fall theme.

3. Tidy up

Prune those shrubs and trim those dragging branches away. As those trees shed their leaves, bare branches will look neater. Walkways and driveways hosing downs will freshen up the exteriors too.

4. Accentuate your porch

Make your porch stand out with accentuated floodlights and lighting. As days grow short and nights arrive early, make it easier for buyers to see your home after sunset. For safety purposes, make sure that your entrances are well lit.

5. Clean those gutters

A careful maintenance says a lot about you and your home which is being easily noticed by buyers whenever they look at your gutters. The simple task of cleaning up those gutters pays a big dividend.
