I want to share a quick story with you:

Yesterday on my walk down the busy State Street in Santa Barbara, I witnessed three beautiful expressions of love ... a young woman praying on a struggling fellow, a boy handing cash to a homeless person, a couple in a loving embrace.

Interestingly, the word that came to me was gratitude. Each of these people in their own way was expressing gratitude through actions of love. I never realized how intertwined the two are, but I'm definitely grateful for that realization.

It is my wish that you have a fantastic thanksgiving and are surrounded by  friends and family. I also challenge you to show your gratitude through at least one expression of love this holiday.

From my family to yours,

Maureen
