01 Museum Mysteries Halloween

10 AM - 5 PM at Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History

Celebrate securely and solve illuminating and inquisitive riddles about natural history. Dress your family in spooky attire and appreciate the Museum beautified for Halloween, with considerably more bats and insects than expected. Appreciate bottle rocket dispatches and creepy science tests.  

02 After School Kids Sailing Program

5:30 PM - 6:30 PM at Zoom

Our After-School Sailing Camp is accessible each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The Santa Barbara Sailing Center is offering After School Youth Paddling and Sailing Programs.

Mey-Yen MoriuchiAssociate Professor of Art, La Salle University Costumbrismo, a genre that grabbed hold in Spain and Latin America, showed itself through the visual and scholarly expressions and tried to catch the traditions, outfits, and customs and traditions of everyday people and everyday life.

06 Stand-up Paddle Boarding

Get into the fun and excitement of standing on water! A special launch pad just for stand-up paddleboarders is available where you can launch directly from the dock to explore the Santa Barbara Harbor, Stearns Wharf, East Beach, and beyond. Life vests and paddles are already included in your rental but of course, you need to know how to swim. Enjoy!

Dream big as you get to pick the yacht size and The Santa Barbara Sailing Center will provide you with a US Coast Guard Certified Captain. A maximum of 6 passengers is allowed in each private group.

Family-run Lane Farms on Hollister Avenue (between Santa Barbara and Goleta) is a local favorite for their vast pumpkin patch and other fun activities. Shop their produce stand, check out the farm animals and treat the kids to corn maze and hayride adventures after they pick out their carving pumpkins.

19 93 Letters from Marge: A Zoom Film Screening & Q&A with filmmaker, Heather Hudson

93 – Letters from Marge is a film about surf pioneer and icon, Marge Calhoun (1924-2017), and is told through letters she composed during the most recent long periods of her life. This sweet and personal film shines a light on the 1958 Makaha International Champion, an inspiring woman who lived life to the fullest.

Animal lovers are encouraged to get the kids out of the house this Thanksgiving and come to the Zoo for a smashin’ good time! Watch as the Zoo’s animals play and interact with pumpkins. Zoo closes early at 3:30 PM.

28 Buckles 'n' Brews Invitational

Go along with us at the fourth yearly Buckles 'n' Brews Invitational on Saturday, November 28th! We will have more than 30 specialty bottling works and wineries on location, along with live music by The Dusty Jugz/The Rincons! This will be our BIGGEST Buckles 'n' Brews to date. 

29 Prisoners Harbor Tour

**Spend 2-2.5 hours exploring Prisoners Harbor the pristine waters, kelp forests, beautiful coastlines, and rich history on Santa Cruz Island’s north coast. This area of the island is the border of Channel Islands National Park and the Nature Conservancy.
