The event takes place on May 15th before the professional racing. The Breakaway Mile is part of Amgen’s Breakaway from Cancer initiative, which raises awareness of resources available to people suffering from cancer as well as cancer survivors in communities across the country, including near Santa Barbara homes.

Don’t miss the finish line party on the 16th.
