5. Santa Barbara Restaurant Week

During Restaurant Week, participating restaurants offer a fixed priced menu at a reduced price for lunch and dinner. Restaurants in Santa Barbara will offer a 3-course menu during dinner time that you will be able to enjoy for less than their usual price per plate. You’ll get to feast at restaurants you have been dreaming of eating at. Restaurant menus will be priced at $25, $35 and $45, making SB Restaurant Week accessible to all that desire a foodie experience like no other. You’ll get the chance to pick three options for each course including your appetizer, entrée and dessert.

Drawn entirely from the Santa Barbara Museum of Art’s distinguished and growing collection, this extensive exhibition of over 100 photographs by approximately a dozen artists reveals unusual facets of the work of well-known artists, as well as new-to-the-collection photographs that will be on view for the very first time in the SBMA’s galleries.

A timely and moving look at a family forced to choose between defending opposing political views and keeping their family together.

2. Pop-Up Community Portrait Studio

The public is invited to participate in a free Pop-Up Portrait Studio in celebration of the “Crosscurrents” exhibitions, currently on view through May 27, which feature painted and photographic portraits. Bring a friend or family member, or pose solo. All ages are welcome!
