Wine, food, music, sea and sun. These elements create the quintessential wine tasting experience at the California Wine Festival – Santa Barbara. A sunny seaside setting attracts California’s best wineries and hundreds of vintage red and white wines, live music complemented by dozens of top regional chefs and specialty food purveyors serving gourmet appetizers. Experience one of the California’s most popular wine festivals.

At the 14th Annual California Wine Festival, there will be two intimate evening tastings on Thursday and Friday, held in two historic Santa Barbara locations, with very limited tickets available to  each event.  The festivities culminate at Chase Palm Park on Saturday, when the big Beachside Wine Fest takes over a peaceful palm-lined park and over 2,500 wine-happy guests sip and savor nearly 300 wines and dozens of gourmet food samplings. Craft brews will also be available for tasting along with artisan cheeses, breads, fresh cut fruits, olive oils and much more.


4. 29th Annual Santa Barbara French Festival

Each year the Santa Barbara French Festival returns to Oak Park to celebrate Bastille Day and all the things that make the French cultural history so rich. Great food, wine, mimosas, crepes, delicious pastries, music and dance!  


3. Lotusfest! 2017

LotusFest is a celebration of the spectacular lotus flower that is Lotusland’s namesake. July is peak blooming season, and guests will have the opportunity to view these uniquely beautiful flowers while enjoying a relaxing afternoon at this casual, fun event. Enjoy wine tasting from Santa Barbara County’s premier vintners, craft beer, delectable hors d’oeuvres, live music, lotus viewing and more! Lotus flowers open during the day and close at night.

In anticipation of a forthcoming career retrospective boxed set on Nonesuch Records, Merchant’s concerts will span her thirty-year recording career, with songs from 10,000 Maniacs and from her solo albums. A string quartet joins Merchant and her regular band for the shows.
